About Flourish Tutoring

I am deeply interested in how people learn, with a specific focus on helping neurodivergent individuals or those facing learning difficulties. The challenges experienced by these individuals can arise from diverse factors. Drawing on 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience, as well as personal experience of my own child’s learning journey with dyslexia and AuDHD, I aim to support my clients’ self-confidence and mental well-being, by unlocking their own learning. By integrating learning priorities with a dialogue about the gifts and skills that each individual has, young people will leave each session feeling positive and motivated in their learning. 

Since leaving the classroom with 23 years of teaching experience, in both primary and secondary schools as well as both mainstream and private sectors, I have trained to be a specialist teacher and assessor in dyslexia as well as becoming a licensed Davis Facilitator. As such, I am well placed to offer effective support.
